  • Account information (username, password, preferences/settings)
  • Communications (support messages and what you include in them)
  • Device and usage information (IP address and identifiers, browser/device/network info, how and when you interact with the site)

B) Writing tool and extension data (text + usage signals)

  • Detector-related signals such as scores or flags generated to assess AI-likelihood (where enabled)
  • Tool settings you choose (for example rewrite strength or tone)
  • Anonymized usage data (frequency of rewrites, typing emulator events, loop counts during validation, timestamps)
  • Technical data (browser type, extension version, truncated IP where applicable, anonymized device fingerprints for analytics/performance)

C) Cookies and local storage

We may use cookies or local storage for session management, rewrite settings, and performance metrics. We do not use cookies for behavioral advertising or third-party tracking as described in our tool policy language.

  • From service providers / partners that help us run payments, analytics, support, cloud storage, fulfillment, or core functionality.

3) How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

  • Provide and improve the Services (operate the rewrite engine, enable the typing emulator, and optimize user experience)
  • Run the store and transactions (process payments, fulfill orders, manage accounts, handle returns/exchanges, send account notices)
  • Security and fraud prevention (authenticate accounts, detect misuse, protect the Services)
  • Communications and support (respond to requests and maintain the customer relationship)
  • Marketing and promotions (where permitted, such as emails about offers; you can opt out of marketing messages)

4) How We Share or Disclose Information

We may disclose information in limited cases:

  • With service providers who perform services on our behalf (payment processing, IT, analytics, customer support, cloud storage, fulfillment/shipping).
  • With platform and infrastructure providers used to operate key features (examples referenced in our tool policy include AI model providers and detector APIs; these providers operate under their own policies).
  • With payment processors, where payment details are handled by them (we state that payment information is not stored directly by us in our tool policy language).
  • For legal reasons (to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, or enforce policies)

We also state in our tool policy language that we do not sell or share user data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.

5) Data Retention

Retention depends on what you use:

  • Rewrite content may be cached during processing and is typically cached for no longer than 24 hours (as described in our tool policy language).

Account or preference data may be retained until you request deletion (as described in our tool policy language).

6) Security

We use protections described in our tool policy language, including encrypted HTTPS communication, encryption at rest, access controls, and throttling. No system is perfectly secure, and you use the Services at your own risk.

7) Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or export of personal information. Our tool policy language references rights under GDPR (EU) and CCPA (California).
